Make a better AC Cobra from the Lotus Elise. The Elise is great looking and best handling sports car available. However, similar to the original AC Ace of the 1960's the Elise suffers from the pathetic, fragile, low powered Rover engine that is difficult to service in many markets. And, even the Toyota powered Elise fails to deliver the car's potential.

The current Honda / Acura K20A is the world's best small block hot rod engine: 2.0 liters, 220 hp, 8,600 rpm, durable and easy to service in any country.

Now available from Sun Speed, Inc / Sun International Racing is THE engine conversion Kit for installing the Honda / Acura K20A engine and gear box into the Lotus Elise. After 3 years of design, engineering and testing the Kit is DIY (do it yourself) simple. No welding or fabrication is needed. The Kit includes ALL of the necessary components that are not Lotus or Honda.

The Kit includes:

•  engine mounts,
• drive shafts,
• shifter kit,
• cooling system tubes, hoses,
• clutch line adapter,
• exhaust manifold,
• complete new, high capacity fuel delivery system from the Lotus pump,
• wiring link harness that's "plug and run." connects directly to the Lotus chassis harness and the Honda engine harness. Includes both O2 sensors and diagnostics (OBD II) connector.

Our unique installation components are fabricated to aircraft standards. We've designed and hand make a custom link wiring harness fabricated by aerospace engineers with all necessary connectors, Teflon insulated wires and, a power control with solid state relays and circuit breakers.
