Honda Engine questions answered

The best engine at lowest cost is used K20A Type R "drop out" from Japan. JDM (Japan Domestic Market). These engines have best power and typically an easy life. These engines come as complete power train including gear box, starter, alternator, fuel injection, intermediate axle, exhaust manifold, etc.
The power can be increased with after market components and, some engines suppliers will custom build the engine for you including 2.4 liter versions. Please note, the K24 is slightly higher (taller) engine block.
